Haiku a day by Bradley Bowers
Haiku a Day by Bradley Bowers
I to you sing song
one of things and one
of thoughts
Song that dwells on horizon
lines
Song that beats with internal
drum rythms
But do my songs seem
foreign to your foreign ears
Do my lips, like baffled jackals
call to distant young
too lost in the twilight
to converse
Are my hymns so deep
that they drip away the meaning
of my words
If so, If rhythms and words
and tongues and throats and thoughts
and ideas can not travel
their distances to find refuge in
your eyes then what use have
I of song.
